Unplug a drive and GetFerret asks where you are keeping it, such as "top desk drawer". Search later and it tells you where to look.

The quick bar

While GetFerret is open, press Ctrl+Alt+Space from anywhere and type a few letters. Press Enter to show the file in File Explorer, or see which drive to plug in.

Duplicates, handled carefully

GetFerret finds copies of the same file across your drives and reads every copy in full before it moves one. Extra copies go to a GetFerret recycle folder on their own drive, where you can put them back.
